About me
Biography
I was born on 29th November, 1980. I spent my childhood years in Tápiószele. I was introduced to music there first. I started my music lessons with clarinate from Béla Szótér when I was 9. I was always interested in musical instruments so I have learned the use of plenty musical instruments so far. (citer, flute, guitar, saxophone, piano, dulcimer, double bass)
I was 12 when I could join in Tótágas band. This was my first band. We had several abroad and home concerts. I was a windwood player in the group, accompanying folk music. I first became interested in double bass at this time. After graduating high school at the age of 19 I attended to Kőbánya Music Studio, Budapest. The best musicians and teachers thaught me there. I would say, this school is the top of musical education. I graduated there on the professions of clarinate and saxophone . My teacher Csaba Tuzko taught me for 3 years, he introduced me to jazz music, other styles of music, improvization and the opportunities of jazz and folk music. The last year of school brought a replacemnet among teachers with Péter Csiszár and Ákos Csejtei in teaching saxophone. Jeno Esze and Tibor Stark were the music theory teachers, Gábor Cseke taught the piano.
Since 2000 I worked with Tápiómente Dancing group, with the leader of Lajos Domján. I followed Tibor Molnár at the piano during the practices. He showed me the world of playing on dulcimer and started my musical career. Since 2001 I was the double bass player of the band.
In 2003 I was a member of Bíró Musical band also as a double bass player.
I attended to the University of Nyíregyháza to music and folk music teacher course. My diploma work is about "The funcion and sound of music in the region of Mezoség". After the cours I attended to the phd course on the same profession. between 2004 and 2008 I was a member of Duvo music band of Salgótarján. We were the accompanying band of Sebestyén Márta in several of her concerts.
In September 2008 I started my solo career as a musician and started writing music for bands. My aim is to introduce the variety of music to people with different types of styles and bands.I want to make the whole world meet with Hungarian folk music in every style.
